Rachel Ramos

Boutique Manager and Lead Planner

Rachel has been with September’s Bride since the day the boutique opened in September of 2007. Dedicated to customer service above all in her dual role, Rachel’s attention to detail paired with her people-loving and fun personality make her a favorite consultant to work with at the boutique.

Rachel is fondly referred to as “the face of September’s Bride”. She works with almost every customer, whether in the boutique or with brides during the planning process. She is also often included in photo shoots as a lovely model.

Rachel and her husband, Luis, live in Hudsonville, MI.

Jessica Corcoran-Lacy

SB & Beyond Boutique Manager & Gown Consultant

Jessica has a passion for anything and everything unique and vintage. With an education in interior design and a strong background in customer service, Jessica’s gift is truly listening to every bride. Her goal is to make each bride’s experience unique and positive – filled with great memories of her dress buying experience at September’s Bride. Planning her own October 2012 wedding, Jessica knows the excitement and stress that carries a bride through her journey. She has a passion for the bride who may have a unique flair and wants to get out of the traditional box. She knows how to help brides achieve a unique “wow” factor with something extra special for her big day.

In addition to her role as a gown consultant, Jessica also manages SB & Beyond, a consignment boutique located on the lower level of September’s Bride.

Bernice Strotter

Gown Consultant

Bernice began working at September’s Bride just a few months after opening in 2007. Having owned a bridal and gift store herself in Niles, Michigan for many years, Bernice brings priceless industry knowledge and experience to the SB team. Bernice is patient and kind, which wins her the adoration of her customers. She is especially skilled in helping mothers and the curvy bride find a gown that flatters and shows off her curves. She also enjoys helping gentlemen with their tuxedo orders and final fittings.

Bernice is a favorite with the rest of the SB team and with customers for her sweet spirit and great sense of style.

Tiffany Ellis

Gown Consultant and Assistant Planner

Tiffany loves to work with brides who are looking for the “Say Yes to the Dress” experience! She will give a bride a memorable, personal experience and often hand-picks “the dress” with great success. Tiffany is married to Braeden and has a darling little boy named Miles. Miles was born in Bolivia while Braeden and Tiffany were serving as missionaries at an orphanage run by her parents.

Due to her time in Bolivia, Tiffany speaks fluent Spanish and is willing to make personal appointments with brides who need a Spanish speaker or who are unavailable during regular business hours.

Tiffany also works along with Rachel as a planner for EVENTS by September’s Bride. A gifted writer and noted DIY’er, Tiffany is also a frequent contributor to the SB blog and Pinterest page.

Jenna Counterman

Bridal Consultant

With a degree in communications from Spring Arbor University, Jen is a great addition to the September’s Bride team. A military bride herself, Jen brings an understanding for the special needs of brides planning a wedding while their husbands or fiances are deployed. She has a knack for being a great decision-maker so she naturally helps the (sometimes) indecisive bride choose THE dress.

Jenna spent time with her family in Kenya, Africa as a young child and hopes for the opportunity to return there for a visit someday. Currently though, she lives in Zeeland with her parents while her husband is serving overseas. Having had a small intimate family wedding prior to his deployment, Jen is anxiously awaiting his return home while she plans their BIG wedding day.

Elisabeth Vanderwall

Gown Consultant

Liz is a part-time team member at September’s Bride and guests will usually get a chance to meet her on the busiest day at SB; Saturday! Super friendly and outgoing, Liz has a special way of making brides feel welcome, comfortable and confident in themselves. Liz was a September’s Bride herself in 2011 and fell in love with SB’s culture and staff. She’s a natural fit and a great asset to the team.
